For 25 years, Mark has been serving the cause of justice in Clarion County. From his earliest days in the Public Defender’s office, to five terms as Clarion County’s elected District Attorney, Mark’s temperament and judgement have been tested and refined.

Mark has earned his reputation as a tough litigator.  Your case will be handled with your best interests constantly in mind.  Whether that means negotiating an appropriate settlement or, when justice requires, to try the case before a jury, Mark has the expertise to ensure that you receive the best possible result.

• Tried 119 jury trials in Clarion and surrounding counties including seven homicide cases as both prosecutor and defense attorney
• Founded Clarion County’s drug task force (CNET), resulting in major arrests and prosecution of drug dealers

Christopher Merwin, Esq.

Christopher Merwin, Esq.

Christopher was born and raised in Clarion County.  He received his high school diploma from Redbank Valley, his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, and his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the Massachusetts School of Law.

After law school Christopher began his legal career in Massachusetts where he was the managing partner of Manzi, Seccareccio & Merwin, P.C.  There his practice concentrated on Criminal Defense, Family Law, Civil Litigation, and Landlord/Tenant law.  Christopher has been a licensed Massachusetts attorney since 2011 and a licensed Massachusetts Real Estate Broker since 2014.

In May of 2020 Christopher returned home to Clarion County with his wife Jesse and his newborn son Lucas.  Christopher became licensed to practice in Pennsylvania in October of 2021.  Here his practice focuses in Family Law, Civil Litigation, Criminal Defense, and Estates.

Christopher enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, golfing, and traveling.  He currently resides in Distant with his wife Jesse and son Lucas.
